Is your sink slow to drain? You can try this before resorting to strong chemicals such as caustic soda or commercial drain de-blockers.

Use Alka Seltzer tablets and white vinegar to de-clog your drain. (Alka Seltzer is an over the counter remedy for heartburn and indigestion).

1. Drop three tablets down the drain, followed by a cup of white vinegar.
2. Leave for 15 mins to fizz.
3. Pour in a kettle of boiling water.
